Paulina and Ernesto de Valenzuela Foundation additionally offers the School Boarding Service in which a warm place to the school girls is provided where affection and respect for the others allow a healthy and harmonious coexistence in which the spaces of study, the recreation and leisure are used properly.
From this premise, the school boarding service that is given to some school girls of the Valenzuela Foundation has as a main goal; from one side, it gives support to the parents or their representatives who due to different circumstances (economic or vulnerability) don’t have the possibility of taking proper care of their daughters at home during the week; on the other side, it continues the general educative project of the Institution in which the freedom for permanently making choices goes together with the responsibilities of bearing their consequences.
One way to continue this work that has been done is that parents or representatives actively get involved in the different processes that have as a purpose the integral development of the school girls, it is evidenced in the accompaniment that is done on the weekends or on the holidays, spaces that will be used for talking, checking, correcting and directing the school tasks. Similarly, they will have the opportunity to consolidate the school boarding habits and rules.
The school boarding opens from Monday to Friday because we consider the accompaniment of the family is essential and that´s why the girls go to their homes on the weekends.
